EtonHouse 25th Anniversary Celebrations

Friday the 6th November marked a significant point in EtonHouse International Schools’history. More that 100 schools across Asia and beyond came together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the company’s foundation, in a virtual party.

Staff from every school joined online to share their stories, here from staff past and present, and celebrate the vision of our founder Ms Gim Ng Choo.

With staff ‘Dressed to Impress’, EtonHouse International Schools’ staff celebrated the milestone with food, drinks and online games. With the event hosted from Singapore, celebrations included a beautifully produced book for each staff member, a Virtual Art Gallery displaying work from students of EtonHouse around the world, speeches and a wonderful video depicting the changes and growth in the company over the years.

“EtonHouse would not have been possible without the support and hard work of many EtonHouse colleagues, both past and present. Education is about giving the very best possible for our children to equip them to live well in the ever-changing world. I am glad I focused on quality and continued to invest in professionally qualified teachers. Look at what you have accomplished at EtonHouse!” said Mrs Ng Gim Choo, Founder of EtonHouse during the event.

Though the virtual EtonHouse 25th Anniversary gala event has come to an end, the story of EtonHouse continues on!

We wish EtonHouse continued success for the next 25 years. Happy Birthday, EtonHouse. May you continue to prosper!

What started as a mother’s dream 25 years ago, is now a legacy that has nurtured generations of children.

On the Saturday they entire school community continued the celebrations with a Community Picnic that was held at a wetlands park close to the school.

The weather was absolutely perfect, a mild sunny day with low pollution and a gentle breeze! Families and staff came together to share a picnic lunch, sign our best wishes board, hear some speeches, eat the magnificent cake prepared for the day, as well as decorate and fly our especially prepared 25th Anniversary kites.  The kites were in high demand with all children visiting the park, a well known kite flying spot. With many additional inquiries into how other park guests could secure kite, we were glad we had plenty of spares.

We were also fortunate to have a local television film crew join us to capture the day and also visit the school.
